Got my hiking backpack from my grandfather, also a W. GERMANY product... He used it for countless trips in the alps since then, and I used it for many trips across Europe in the last decade... Not a single problem, nothing broken or repaired so far, looks rather old and shitty, but fu** it, they made quality stuff back then !

ah yes, made before companies realized they could get away with making shitty products to sell new ones every year. in my grandpa's garage, there are tools that he filed the swastika out of, and they're in perfect condition.

Some tools still come marked as made in West Germany because they simply didn't bother to change the molds... at least some time ago i bought a screw driver and it came marked as such, it was new.

Instead of buying cheap chinese clamps, he managed to find somethin high quality tools.
