You are allright with that attitude. Children aren't for everyone.
If your partner feels the same way, great. Otherwise, stop wasting her time and move on.
I had the exact same feelings as you, then as I got older my priorities changed when I first met my wife, 3 children later I'm glad I became a father and wouldn't change it for the world. A child free weekend would be great though.
No it's okay, at least you have the possibility to choose lol

good, even as a father of three, now adults, although I love them, I can tell you this: you are right, I would never have kids, could I start over.
And that's the life! Kids today means too much headache. Don't listen to anyone who said you'll regret it. You have your peaceful nights while they're up changing diapers. You get to go away and party while they have to duct-tape their kids shut. So many joys of being kid-free!!!
The more developed a country, the more educated the people - the lower the population growth. Your stance just might actually be a result of being too smart. Personally, I want a kid at some point, just not yet.
Female here. I am 40 now, never wanted kids though. I don't think I miss something, so everything is ok. I am happy for my friends who have them. Bot for myself: no.
