This week's U.N. Human Rights Council session on Afghanistan adopted one of the most watered-down resolutions in its history. The outcome text fails to document Taliban atrocities; fails to condemn the Taliban; and fails to create any commission of inquiry. What a betrayal.

What did you honestly expect from them? Russia and China have a permanent seat.

So the U.N. is useless? Wow, I really thought they could do something about the genocide happening in China. I think if we hand them more money they will do something.

I truly hope that all the conspiracy theorists are right when they say there is a shadow government that is creating chaos to gain control. The alternative being that our elected leaders are actually this corrupt and stupid is so much worse. At least with a shadow government the chaos will subside when they gain power

This is the decided outcome of the Qatar negotiations. US had to hold their end of the bargain. What we don't know yet is what was the taliban end of it. But for sure it included enabling evacuation of the remaining people, which is why the taliban's balls went up their throat when the airport blast happened. Hence the quick statement to blame ISIS for the attack.

Why does anything the UN do (or doesn't do) come as a suprise anymore?!?..... an example is all the "good work" they have done in palestine..... they are only there to serve the political agendas of those who want to control the world.... all else is just a big charade
