We are all controlled by technology and it's extensions. Youre tethered to your phone, your credit cards, you social media accounts etc. Shit even your bank is online, when's the last time you filled out a paper deposit? Either way in 5-10 years we won't need governments, its just going to be 1 global overlord government telling our ai systems what we're gonna be doing for the near foreseeable future
You start with your local candidates and finding good ones that need your support. But you're going to have to read to find out what their policies are, where they stand on issues and if they have a past they aren't being honest about. It's takes effort and until you do that, you're just going to pick one of those two sides or not vote at all.
