Late December birthdays are disadvantageous

My family always gave me one present for my birthday and Christmas- it’s 5 days apart. And my brother who’s birthday is in June got two. Used to bug me, but now I’m married and my wife never does it

Mine's on the 23rd, I used to hate this bullshit. My mom used to tell me every year that she wasn't going to throw a birthday party since no one would show up because it was close to Christmas
