Sounds like somebody needs to read Terry Pratchett.
Used to know a guy that did bonsai mountains. Weird little bald guy as I recall...
This is SO funny!
Mount Rushmore? Have you seen mount me?
I've had this idea for a book in which there are these immortal beings that grow their cities from trees. they don't carve the trees or cut them rather they stroke them with fingers. every day they brush their hand over the trees to gently push them in the right direction and over time the trees are bent to their design. They don't have infinite memory, so they have someone in charge of their memory, and once every few centuries they deposit their memories and introduce a few humans' memories into their collective mind. and someone who hates them infiltrates them pretending to be pure of heart and corrupts every one of them with his mind
The "stalagmite cultivation" is priceless
I can see myself collecting the iron from my own blood to make swords if was an immortal vampire.
man. that would be impressive. I cant even play the same game for more than a few months before I lose interest.
Right? I always thought about this! They could breed their own cultures of anything! Just think, how well they could get in yoyo-tricks! Ball juggling! ("I've started juggling 1200 years ago, and not I can juggle 20 Balls on each hand." Those were some freaking amazing skills!)
So the vampires would basically be like the elves in the Inheritance Cycle? (Eragon series)
